CvS was my Hot spot! I know who would have thought it!? I absolutely would rather shop after Christmas than after Thanksgiving, But I do both! This year I had to work so not much shopping will be done so glad I found this find!!

12 days Til Christmas

My gifts to purchase are dwindling down! Jody is all I have left to buy for! All the nieces and nephews are handled and stocking items for Walters Christmas !!

We attending Christmas party last night at Carl and Martha Nicholsons home! It was fantastic and feel like we have been blessed to just be a part of such a great group of people. 

Tonight Friday 13th! Jody and I head to B'ham to P!nk concert with friends! Happy 4th anniversary !!!

 

Fun Family Times Busy times- 8Days til Christmas

Email I received this morning with great Encouraging words for us to remember this season:

This week I am continuing to share ways to stay positive and on fire amidst the challenges out there. One of the things I read early in the morning comes from gifted writer Max Lucado.

I will begin by controlling my thoughts. A person is thee product of his thoughts. I want to be happy and hopeful. Therefore, I will have thoughts that are happy and hopeful. I refuse to be victimized by my circumstances. I will not let petty inconveniences such as stoplights, long lines, and traffic jams be my masters. I will avoid negativism and gossip. Optimism will be my companion, and victory will be my hallmark. Today I will make a difference.

I will face this day with the joy of a child and the courage of a giant. I will drink each minute as though it is my last.

Another tool I often reference is of a card a businessman carries:

As you go through a day, a mean or negative comment can often deflate your positive attitude. You try your best and no matter what you can't seem to please that certain boss.

 

Here is something to take with you that Bill Cosby told me years ago. I was in Chicago to interview him on the set of the show "Kids Say the Darndest Things." I found him to be very nice and filled with wisdom. He said, "Charlie, I don't know the secret of success, but I know the way to failure is trying to please everybody."

When I was Graduating High School I knew that I wanted to get a College Degree but where would I want my life to go, I had no clue. This time of year has that feeling of whats is next, where is my life, my GOD, my career taking me. List looked and Looks like this.

*went to NYC 2013 but Jody didnt get to go it is still on the list so we can do it together. Thats just how we prefer things!

Merry & Bright

Married and Bright is was the Theme of 2013. When I create our Christmas holiday card I try to reflect what happened throughout the year. Jody and I are so in love and happy with our life! Blessed is the start of words to describe 2013. On to Tomorrow where we know God has more blessings head of us.

Pure greatness came in the mail today and I am beyond grateful for my friendship with this woman! Meg and Hunter are expecting and due date is June! Blessed, thankful and grateful that anything is possible when you let go and let God!

12 Days of Bliss

DEC is a huge month for Jody and I first and most importantly its our anniversary on the 12th: 4Years!

Dec 1 started the day with Sunday School- very blessed absolutely love the couples in our class! It makes living in a small town easy when you surround yourself with like minded people. Church was great especially the music.
